Gas tank in today
Got it in with the welting pulled tight. Took all day to get it right but it was worth it, and didn't even scratch the new paint! Harry and JJ came over and helped as we needed six hands, lots of tape and stats and long nose pliers.

Many hours of water sanding
Got the trunk lid primed and spot puttied today, paint tomorrow. I now have almost all the car water sanded, 400, 600, and 1000 grit and will buff it when I get it all together but it is really slick now. Cleared out the garage and moved the 3 window inside for winter. Wood work for top and seat upholstery painted and ready to install after water sanding. Getting closer!!

Roadster progress during this dry weather finally
The drivers door with a new skin got painted today and the passenger door with original skin got a skim coat of filler to even out the pits. Hinges got painted, screws got painted. Cleaned out all the threads that hold the gas tank in as they were too rusty to thread screws into and some had broken off bolts in them that had to be drilled out. Started fitting rear fender too.

Roadster Painting
The Black is going on. Painted the gas tank, Cowl top and left cowl quarter this weekend. Trying to get as much done as possible while it's dry since I'm doing the driveway paint job method!
